A Nation That Dwells Alone: Inside the Fight for Israel at the UN, with Amb. Gilad Erdan

- When
- Where
- Congregation Beth Jacob, Atlanta
- Format
- In person
Israel's Ambassador to the UN came to Atlanta to describe the fight for Israel inside the building. Beth Jacob Atlanta hosted; AIC partnered.
Speaker
Gilad Erdan
Israel's Permanent Representative to the United Nations
Erdan served as Israel's 18th Permanent Representative to the UN from July 2020 to August 2024, and in June 2022 was elected a vice-president of the UN General Assembly for its 77th session. He was a Likud member of Knesset and a cabinet minister before the diplomatic postings.
Erdan was Israel’s man at the United Nations, which meant standing up in a chamber that votes against his country more often than against any other and answering for it. He came to Atlanta to say what that is actually like from the inside.
Free to the general public, with a $180 VIP pre-event. Congregation Beth Jacob hosted.
AIC’s words before: “Thank you Beth Jacob Atlanta for hosting it and we are so honored to be partnering with you in such educational events in Atlanta.” And after: “We were thrilled to partner on this program. Gilad Erdan shared a unique and important perspective on what’s going on in the UN.”
