AIC is grassroots work, run close to the people who make it possible. It is led day to day by its Co-Founder and Executive Director, Cheryl Dorchinsky, and governed by a board of directors elected under our Amended and Restated Bylaws.

Zionist Legacy Award — World Zionist Organization, 2023

Cheryl Dorchinsky is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Atlanta Israel Coalition, which she established in 2018 to unite and mobilize the pro-Israel community in Atlanta and beyond. Under her leadership, AIC has grown into a grassroots organization hosting hundreds of educational programs, advocacy initiatives, and international engagements focused on Israel and the fight against antisemitism.

Cheryl has led multi-faith missions to Israel, convened civic and community leaders, and expanded AIC’s programming across the United States and abroad. Her work centers on informed advocacy, community resilience, and principled civic engagement. In 2023 the World Zionist Organization awarded her the Zionist Legacy Award in recognition of her impact.

Most of that making goes to AIC: the design and craft behind fun, meaningful projects that help stop antizionism and hate. If AIC hands you something that looks good, Mina probably made it.
