Israel's Embassy to the United States marked the 73rd Independence Day with a national livestream. AIC carried the broadcast to its community.
Israel turned 73, and its Embassy in Washington ran the celebration for the whole country at once — an hour of guests and music at eight in the evening, streamed live on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, with Israel’s consulates across the United States alongside it. The second Independence Day the community could not mark in a room together.
AIC’s part was to carry it: the page shared the Consulate’s stream that afternoon and the Embassy’s broadcast again minutes after it opened. AIC did not convene this one and never claimed to.
