What Should We Read Next?
Tell us about a book worth an evening with its author. Or put your own forward.
The Author’s Table is AIC’s book club. Once a month we read one book, and the author joins us on Microsoft Teams to talk it over. Know a book that belongs there? Tell us about it.

What we’re looking for
Books About Israel and Jewish Life, by Authors Who’ll Join Us.
We mix it up from month to month. The kinds of book we read:
Israel and Zionism how the country came to be, told as a story.
Memoir and firsthand accounts from people who were there, October 7 included.
Antisemitism and antizionism what it looks like now, and how to answer it.
Israel today its politics, its security, and its neighbors.
Jewish life in America who we are, and the arguments we have at home.
Novels and stories Israeli fiction in translation, and Jewish novels worth arguing about.
Something else that belongs here? Suggest it anyway, and tell us why it fits.
