The Lawfare Project fights for Jewish civil rights in court, which is slower and less visible than most advocacy and occasionally decisive. CAEF gave it the Advocate Award of Excellence, and Brooke Goldstein, who founded it, accepted.
Ronald Lauder of the World Jewish Congress, Jonathan Turner of UK Lawyers for Israel and Karma Feinstein-Cohen of World Herut paid tribute; Cantor Gideon Zelermyer and Neshama Carlebach sang. Nearly two hours, free, and the whole thing is recorded above.
AIC’s own words at the time: “Atlanta Israel Coalition is pleased to participate in this Jewish Heritage Month event.”
