The AIC Impact Award goes to someone whose life or vision has moved other people to act, and whose actions changed how Israel is seen or lived in.

AIC gave the first one to Kay Wilson, two years to the month after her documentary became AIC’s first program. She had been guiding when she was attacked with a machete in December 2010; her friend Kristine Luken was murdered in the same attack. Since then she has spoken to American students, to the Israeli army, to Christian audiences and to youth, and has lobbied Western governments over the aid that pays convicted terrorists. She has been recognized for her courage by the Israeli police and the Shin Bet. When she was threatened, she housed the Israeli Arab activist Mohammed Zoabi in her own home.

The five speakers on the program were people her work had already reached: Karma Feinstein-Cohen, Dumisani Washington, Raheel Raza, Craig Dershowitz and Ilan Greenfield.
