    One of Israel's premier English-speaking licensed guides, already known to the AIC community as the guide for the Re-Discovering the Land of Israel virtual tours. He hosted the group for a barbecue at his home in Efrat.

AIC spent two years touring Israel by video. In November 2022 it went in person.

Cheryl Dorchinsky led the group; David Sussman guided the whole ten days. Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Tiberias, Tzfat, Masada and the Dead Sea, with an optional extension to Petra and Eilat from 15 to 17 November. The itinerary was built to work for people who had never been and for people who had been many times.

It was not a sightseeing trip. The group met Israelis throughout — Yaakov Selavan of Slingshot Israel, the Roots people from the 2019 program — and Sussman hosted everyone for a barbecue at his home in Efrat.

Cheryl and Sussman ran a public Q&A webinar in May to answer questions before anyone committed; the recording above is that session. Israel Destination operated the tour.
