Israel & the Diaspora in a Changing World: An Evening with Minister Amichai Chikli
Israel’s Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, Amichai Chikli, came to Toco Hills to talk about Israel and world Jewry, the rise in antisemitism, and what the two can do about it together.
Speaker

Amichai Chikli
Israel’s Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism; Member of Knesset
Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, spent Thursday evening, December 4, 2025, with AIC in Toco Hills.
Cheryl Dorchinsky’s invitation gave the reason plainly. The relationship between Israel and Jewish communities around the world was being tested in ways nobody had seen in decades, with antisemitism rising, the geopolitics shifting, and sharp arguments inside the Jewish world.
He came to talk about four things: how Israel sees its partnership with North American Jewry; the rise in antisemitism around the world, and what Israel and the Diaspora can do about it together; how regional and global politics affect Jewish security and identity; and where people here can strengthen their own tie to Israel.
It was free, with an optional tax-deductible gift at registration. Security was tighter than usual, and guests were asked to come early.
