Plenty of people wanted to go and volunteer in Israel after October 7 and had no idea how to arrange it or pay for it. This was the session that answered both.
Israeli wine and cheese first, then the practical part: whether to book a VolunTour, go alone or go with a friend; Atlantans who had just come back, saying what it was actually like; the Facebook and WhatsApp groups worth joining; and JIFLA on financing the trip with an interest-free loan.
Free to attend, supported by a Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta Gather Grant. The same grant funded AIC’s three live virtual tours of Israel after October 7, including one to Kibbutz Re’im.
