    Lt. Col. (Res.); Head of Legal Strategies, Palestinian Media Watch

    Hirsch served nineteen years in the IDF's Military Advocate General's Corps, including as head of legal advice to the Navy, Air Force, Ground Forces and Home Front, and finally as Head of the Military Prosecution for Judea and Samaria. He represented the IDF and the State of Israel in talks with a UN organization, and is a senior member of Habithonistim and a research fellow at the Israeli Institute for Strategic Studies.

Hirsch prosecuted these cases for nineteen years and now reads what the Palestinian Authority publishes for a living. The argument here is about the source rather than the symptom: what the PA’s own media, schoolbooks and official statements put into the world, and where it ends up.
