Israel turned 74 in 2022. It was also 102 years since the San Remo Declaration and 100 years since the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, and the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation and UKLFI Charitable Trust built their Independence Day program around all three.
It came in two parts. First, registrants watched Whose Land? whenever it suited them. Colonel Richard Kemp presents the documentary, Hugh Kitson produced and directed it, and it brings in legal experts and scholars from around the world. Then on Tuesday, May 3, came the live webinar, with Kitson, Simon Rufus Isaacs, the 4th Marquess of Reading, and Natasha Hausdorff, legal director of UKLFI.
AIC co-sponsored the program and asked its community to watch the film before joining the webinar.
