  • Yirmiyahu Danzig

Educator, speaker, and content creator for Unpacked

A Jerusalemite educator and content creator for Unpacked who explores Jewish identity, belonging, and antisemitism across Israel and the diaspora.

Yirmiyahu Danzig came back to Atlanta for AIC on Wednesday night, February 11, 2026, two years after his first AIC evening. He is an educator and speaker for Unpacked, and online he posts as @that_semite.

Cheryl Dorchinsky’s invitation said what the evening was for. Jewish identity, Israel, and antisemitism were being argued about loudly, and often carelessly, and she wanted a night of learning and honest conversation.

Danzig covered Jewish identity and diversity, the “other” Jewish histories, Israel and the diaspora and where people belong, antisemitism and how it is talked about today, and what keeps Jewish continuity going.

It was free and open to the whole community, in Buckhead. The full talk is on video.
